Weeks ago, a joyous festival intended to bring the three nations together turned bleak when monsters descended on the populace. After the dust cleared, the terror only grew worse when it was declared that one of the Elders had been slain. And by a foreign diplomat no less. Now, tensions run high and the nations find themselves at odds again. Some have begun to arm themselves for battle whilst others continue to grieve their losses. One thing is clear: if matters persist, the final thread of peace will be severed, plunging the world into new darkness.
SHATTERED BY FEAR
Belief among the populace of Temporal City was short-lived once news of the Elder's demise spread. An island-wide lock-down was initiated by the Solerians as they attempted to unravel the circumstances of Zhao's death, but in doing so, hysteria was quick to overtake the masses. Many feared that the Calamity would return, leading to panic, discontent and ultimately, violence. The tensions reached their peak as people brawled in the streets and gave into desperation. Eventually, the Solerians regained control over the city and deported the foreigners from their shores, but the peoples of the world were now more divided than ever.
Suddenly, all traces of pleasantness and cheerfulness were swept away from Temporal City, for an army of horrific crustaceans began to assault the island. Dragon Elder Zhang Wei Zhao confronted one of the largest abominations within the arena, fighting by his lonesome. Meanwhile, as mayhem spread throughout the city, civilians were evacuated, defenses were raised, and the tide of fell crustaceans was confronted in the streets. It was only thanks to the cooperation of the three nations that the crisis was dealt with, yet their victory was a costly one. By the Calamity's end, Elder Zhao was slain - however, not by a monster. Instead it seemed he was murdered.
THE LUNAR TOURNAMENT
The climax of the festivities came in the shape of a friendly competition of martial prowess. An audience of eager hundreds watched as warriors from all three nations were pitted against dangerous creatures in a show of sport, testing all manner of strength, skill, and personal pride. Representatives from each faction paid close attention to these battles, finding what little bit of common ground they could. But even as the tournament drew to a close, a growing shadow and a threat was about to descend upon Temporal Island.
THE FORTUNE FESTIVAL
In order to promote cooperation and soothe hostilities between Ochia and Estaria, Temporal City opened its arms to the world and allowed foreigners to visit and partake in the annual Lunar Festival. People from all walks of life accepted the invitation, making the long trip oversea to experience the celebration firsthand. Games, food, drink, gambling, and all sorts of revelry were had, fostering harmony between the diverse peoples. For some, the joyous festival was a chance to make rapport with former enemies or develop new connections. For others, it was nothing more than a welcome distraction during a time of great strife.
With the establishment of the Republic of Estaria and the Ochian Empire has come some form of peace between the Ordained and the Forsaken. No longer do the Estarians believe in magic or the pantheon. Nay, they believed their powers made them higher beings. As for the Forsaken? They learned to mimic the Ordained with weapons and machines powered by ore. But times aren't peaceful. An unnatural phenomenon has begun to wreak havoc on the nations and creatures alien to the earth have begun to surface. Some call it the wrath of the gods. Others believe that science can find an answer to this growing concern.
Whatever it may be, the nations have raced to claim terrority and expand resources. Alas, their claim to a mysterious island has caused a third nation to introduce itself to the world - The Kingdom of Soleria. With the world edging towards chaos, the three nations scramble to find a solution.
Now the question is: Whose side are you on?

A nation in the northwest that was once dedicated to the prayer and servitude of their gods and goddess that has shifted to focus of the current times. Much of Estaria has now developed to where many of their cities are lined with high rise buildings and towering spires littering their skyline. However the once prominent scenery of temples and shrines have faded away only to appear out of place comparatively at the edges of the nation.
A nation to the southwest that has risen from the ashes of their failure, the Ochian cities are arranged intricately amidst a network of pipelines that run throughout the nation and decorated with a multitude of massively imposing buildings of complex architectural design. There is a heavy reliance on steam and technological innovations to distinguish themselves. As such the nation always seems to be crowded or busy.
A nation in the east nestled in the countryside, Soleria is hidden away from the world except to those wishing to find it. Divided between different spiritual clans, there are a vast amount of settlements amidst the landscape that is built within the natural landmarks that dominate their internal infrastructure. Much of this land is known for its raw beauty and freely flowing concentrated mana that is usually utilized for studies in magic to further their nation's growth.
A mysterious island that has appeared to the north, no one knows specifically how it has appeared or why. Despite that, many countries have taken interest in exploring the island and laying claim to it. Thankfully the island's main city has become a ground for mutual understanding and a temporary unity through a truce has been established. Outside the main city, there are many surrounding beaches and tropical forest areas can be explored but the signs of fighting and raiding can be seen.
Scattered within the endless expanse of ocean are several island landmasses that have yet to be fully explored. While the Island has earned the attention of most of the known nations of the world, who knows other secrets and dangers could be hidden in those other rural unexplored lands.
